We were fortunate enough last night to have the duo Johnny Faa over at the studios and they played some authentic beautiful Irish music that was geared more towards the traditional music. It was Chris Smith and Steve Cooper that came in the studio and brought their flute and bouzouki to educate and entertain us for the first hour of our show with their delightful music. They also played a few songs from their cd’s they were kind enough to share with us and I’ve posted a few of them in zip file you can download from zshare to get the songs played last night. I apologize for the late posting but I had a chunky paper due this morning that I stayed up all night for…so the afternoon nap was necessary.
We also played more of IAM and CFCF and Noudi played some Royksopp and Alif Tree remixd by Felix Laband.
In other news, make sure to show up at BASH’S on Wednesday night for the Old Time Relijun, The Oh Sees & Clipd Beaks show…I know it’s gonna be badass and for it will so much more once I finish the night with a lil set I’ve prepared to ROCK yo face off….seriously, it’s gonna get hot and smokin tmrw night, you won’t wanna miss this. I’m excited so that means it’s gonna be great. I’ll try at least.
We’ll be back for sure after spring break but I’ll post tunes up in between now and then, so no worries. But I’ll be Austin so if anybody knows of any good shows I don’t know bout, for sure leave a note. I’ll be checkin out Chromeo on saturday night so find it on their myspace for more info bout that.
