Last night was another night of great music but surprisingly Noudi and I on some telepathic wavelength, brough music that was chill and smooth as a motha…so good. Everybody from Jao Gilberto to a Smith’s cover song was in the house. Didn’t expect it but that’s what happened. The story is that Noudi and I don’t really talk before the show on exactly everything that we’ll play for that week but sometimes we’ll chit chat and figure out a good way to transition from one theme to another. Surprisingly and now not so surprisingly, for the majority of the time, we somehow bring in music that flows really great and perhaps it has something to do with weather or the north pole for all I know but it works out great.
So if you guys are for any reason interested in the spicifc musicians played and you read about on here, totally check out their myspace (if they have one) or whatever is out there. I’ll post some links I find here for sho. Enjoy the music as usual. Let us know of any thoughts or concerns. Either post or email at rhythmrue@gmail.com
